Who broadcasts Italy's matches
As in previous editions, Italy's national team matches remain an exception to the rest of the tournament: they are broadcast free, on free-to-air TV, by Rai. All six group matches, so Italy-Belgium, Turkey-Italy, France-Italy, Italy-Turkey, Italy-France and Belgium-Italy, air on Rai 1, with free live streaming on RaiPlay.
So you don't need any paid subscription to follow the national team's matches: free-to-air TV or the RaiPlay app, even on a phone or tablet, is enough.
What about the rest of the Nations League? Sky and NOW
If you want to follow the whole competition instead, including matches from the other groups and the Nations League Finals in June 2027, you'll need a different subscription: the rights for the full tournament belong to Sky, also available in streaming with NOW.
In that case, it's worth looking at Sky's sports packages or NOW's Sport Pass, which also include Serie A, the Champions League and the Europa League, plus tennis, Formula 1 and more.
- Sky TV + Sky Sport: €24.99/month. Get the offer
- NOW Sport Pass: €29.99/month, renews monthly with no commitment. Check out the NOW Sport Pass offer
Promotional prices change often, so it's always worth checking the current offer on the official site before subscribing.
How the group works
The format is simple: the top two teams in Group A1 advance to the quarter-finals, scheduled for March 2027. The third-placed team plays a play-off to stay in League A, while the fourth is relegated to League B. The group standings also affect the seeding pots for the Euro 2028 qualifying draw.
Keeping track of it all with EasySubs
Between free Rai coverage for Italy's matches and a possible Sky or NOW subscription to follow the rest of the tournament, it's easy to lose track of what you actually have active, especially if these subscriptions stack on top of what you already pay for Serie A or the Champions League.
EasySubs helps you keep all your subscriptions in one place, including the renewal dates and auto-renewals of Sky and NOW, so you always know your total spend and can calmly decide what's actually worth keeping active.
